Otherworldly desire and paranormal action reach new heights in the final installment of The Soulkeepers. As Sophia St. James moves Heaven and Hell to claim her destiny, questions are answered, secrets are revealed—and immortal love is tested.
After finally becoming a powerful Spirit Walker, Sophia St. James is shocked to discover that her conjured identical twin, Ka—along with her soul—have been dragged down to Hell by the relentless Demon Knight Dante. Sophia tries to hide the crisis, but there is little hope of keeping any secrets from her red-hot Guardian Angel. Growing suspicious, Michael has been making plans of his own that will bind him and Sophia together forever.
But Sophia is plagued with evil visions through Ka’s experiences in Hell. She is terrified that Dante will discover he has taken the wrong Sophia. Desperate to return to her original state before she withers away and dies, she risks everything to go where Michael can’t follow. To bring back Ka and save her own soul, Sophia must now enter the gates of Hell.

Review: (4/5 stars) In reading this, I found I was behind a bit coming in at the end of a series as I did not read the first 2 books. It would have behooved the author to have had a synopsis of sorts to catch up the reader like a prologue prior chapter 1.
However, since I am a fast reader and catch on quick, it became clear this was a romance between Michael, an angel of the highest trained who became a HALO and of Sophia, a human who became a spirit walker. Sophia is hiding a secret from Michael in that she has used dark magic and split her soul to make a twin, named Ka, who has gone into Hell to be with Dante, who believes Ka is Sophia but is really Lovinia from their past. However, there is more for the both of them in the fight for humanity for good vs evil. A prophecy stating that Sophia will lead and Michael will be at her side against the darkest evil in battle. Who will win??? Will Dante keep Ka or will Sophia get her back and become whole again? Does Sophia and Michael marry?
All of these are answered as this book is the final conclusion to the trilogy of the Soulkeepers. A definite fantasy sci-fi book that keeps you guessing as the scenery changes almost on every page. I was reading about music and ran across Metallica’s song, The Unforgiven III. It seemed to me that the words seemed to fit the book as a whole in concept abt feelings. Remember that Angels were not to associate with humans overall but in this case, Michael loves Sophia!
He would just sail on
He would just sail on
How can I be lost
If I’ve got nowhere to go
Searched the seas of gold
How come it’s got so cold
How can I be lost
In remembrance I relive
How can I blame you
When it’s me I can’t forgive
These days drift on inside a fog
It’s thick and suffocating
This seeking life outside its hell
He’s run aground
Like his life
Water’s much too shallow
Down with the ship
Fading in the shadows now
They’ve gone away
Set sail to sea but pulled off course
By the light of golden treasure
How could he know this new dawn’s light
Would change his life forever
